The Elms Grandparents Day

On a perfect spring Saturday in October over 150 people attended The Elms Grandparents Day.

In support of the Victorian Seniors Festival, visitors, residents, children, familiy and friends enjoyed a fantastic day and experienced the wonderful hospitality and sense of community that can be found at The Elms.

There were plenty of games including outdoor bowls, table tennis, and board games for the children and families to enjoy.

The children had their faces painted, participated in a colouring-in competition, were thrilled with the balloon artistand there were even baby animals for the children to pat and cuddle.

Many of the residents attended with their extended families and we welcomed some of the residents from our sister site at Bridgewater Lake who also came along to enjoy the day.

Current depositors and their families attended showing off their new homes which reinforced their decision to make the big move.

Overall the day was a huge success, not only celebrating the joys of being a Grandparent but appreciating the special lifestyle that The Elms offers.
